I am blogging to keep my sanity in a country (and world) where stupidity is extremely abundant – in fact so abundant that it is amazing that society functions at all. I simply need a way to funnel all the pent up frustration.
Another reason for blogging is to provide a way for non-Swedes to understand how this country works (and does not work). Sweden has been hailed as a success saga during the recent global financial turmoil, but below the surface there are massive issues boiling.
A third objective is to put the spotlight on the many idiots that have a calling to express their opinions. The combination of stupidity, ambition and lack of self criticism is unfortunately a very common brew. Maybe this blog can to some extent contribute in counteracting the steady flow of intellectual crap i Swedish public debate.
